Mom - Season 7 Ep. 18: A Judgy Face and your Grandma's Drawers.

Arielle Weekly

Welcome back Mom fanatics for your fabulous weekly recap from yours truly!

Marjorie is given a task from her son, hoping to mend the bond that was once lost. Bosgag's, her cat, gets sick. It's up to the group and newborn Sophia to help out Marjorie while her son and his wife are out at a wedding!

Marjorie starts off the group meeting with bringing in the baby basket that was mentioned in the last episode. Marjorie's son finally caves in and allows her to be part of his family as a grandmother to his newborn daughter, Sophia. Marjorie is ecstatic to begin this new journey but unfortunately one of her cats gets sick.

Christy arrives just in time to save the day so that Marjorie can take her cat to the vet to get checked. However, Christy forgot her medication because Marjorie's home is filled with cats, and well, she's allergic! So she tries to maintain herself, but it gets even worse so she calls for help.

Bonnie enters the picture and takes over watching for Sophia while both Marjorie being gone, and Christy dying from her allergies.  Bonnie is now bored with Sophia and wants to go for a drive, but guess what happens, her tire blows out! The car she's driving isn't even her own, it's Marjorie's, so Bonnie checks for a spare tire, and accidentally locks herself out of the car, leaving the baby inside the car! She finds a hanger from the trunk and wants to break into the car that way, instead, while in the trunk, the trunk closes, trapping her inside! Jill comes and saves the day.

Jill's with the baby, she's getting emotional, because we all know how badly Jill wanted her own baby, and well, poor Jill is now getting way too attached, so she arrives at the group meeting with everyone else and breaks down crying. Tammy relieves Jill of baby duty, she doesn't really want to but she caves in from Sophia's charm, she takes her back to Marjorie, but in the middle of her trip to Marjorie's she builds the confidence to confront Adam, and quits on the spot at the bar. Adam reaffirms that his attitude toward her wasn't for her but for her coworker instead. She respectfully un-quits on the spot.

Marjorie freaks about Sophia not being at the house, so she calls Christy to figure out where Sophia is. Christy ends up conference calling all of the people who watched over Sophia. Tammy ends up being in Marjorie's house with Sophia just in time for her son and his wife to pick the baby up. Woot! Woot! Tammy!

Marjorie confesses to her son that it wasn't just her watching Sophia it was actually all of her friends as well and this builds a stronger bond with her son. He ends up calling her mom of which he hasn't in a long time. Does this mean we'll see more of Marjorie's son in the series? Will Marjorie's character change for the better or will she plummet with the responsibility of being a mom and grandmother to Sophia? I guess we'll just have to see in the next few episodes!

What did you guys think about this latest episode? Tammy working with another ex-con would be a hoot! I hope Jill's character finds some sort of happiness, because it really tears me up to see how sad she gets; she's completely torn she needs some more sunshine!
