Fairies are beautifully dangerous, introducing Fairy Hickies!
Arielle Weekly, releases debut short film, “Fairy Hickies”

Lakewood, CO

May 1, 2020: Bon Chance Press will hold a public screening of the award-winning short film Fairy Hickies. May 1, 2020 at 6:00 PM Mountain Time at The Southperry Cinema in Lakewood, CO.

Fairy Hickies captures the story of Drissa and Jheric who are students at the magical Drexel Academy. They’re in class when instructed to save a witch’s life. The only conflict they encounter is working together to solve the mystery. Fairies release a venom when their prey is bitten. A potion must be made, but do Drissa and Jheric have the necessary ingredients, and when a life is on the line will they set aside their differences to pass their class and save a life?

This short film focuses on team work, LGBTQIA+ culture and diversity issues in today’s times. The screening at The Southperry Cinema is part of Fairy Hickies’ campaign to drive diversity and LGBTQIA causes to light and power the movement of change in society. By the end of 2020 we want films and creative artists to showcase diversity in their projects and we believe Fairy Hickies will light the movement in the right path.

Screening Date: May 1, 2020
Screening Time: 6:00 pm Mountain Time
Screening Location: The Southperry Cinema in Lakewood, CO 80228

About Bon Chance Press, LLC:  "Bon Chance" is a Cajun term meaning "Good Luck!" At BCP, they believe every writer needs a little luck to go with their natural talent, drive, and hard work. They believe wholeheartedly that publishing companies should put creative writers first. Millions of talented writers are never given a fair chance to get their lovely words out there for the whole world to see, simply because they are the wrong color, gender, age, etcetera, or they write in the "wrong genre." That's why Bon Chance Press is here.
